Peter Thomas Murphy, Jr. 83 of Seven Lakes, passed away on December 13, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Born on May 25, 1934 in Queens Village, New York to the late Peter and Katherine Murphy.
Peter proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He was a partner with Eastman Dillon for many years. He enjoyed working as a starter ranger at Pinehurst # 7.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Murphy; two daughters, Patricia Seeling (Bruce) and Kelly Murphy; sister-in-law, Helen Quick; also survived by 7 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a niece and nephew.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
