The O’Neal School recognized current 10th, 11th and 12th grade students for their high academic scores at an assembly before their peers recently.  The Head of School Achievement Award is presented to the O’Neal student in each class who compiled the highest academic average for the past school year.

Head of School John Elmore recognized the following students with this award. Commended for ninth grade achievement was Molly Kuzma, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Kuzma of Foxfire. Tenth grade achievement was awarded to Sydney Maynor, daughter of Drs. Bobby and Carolyn Maynor of Pinehurst. Eleventh grade achievement was awarded to Blair Spencer, daughter of Mrs. Cassie Gavin and Mr. George Spencer both of Illinois and granddaughter of Ms. Elaine Zelch of Pinehurst.

An independent, college preparatory school for pre-kindergarten age 3 through grade 12, The O’Neal School is dedicated to the development of academic excellence, strength of character, and physical well-being of its students.
