Pets Boles Funeral Home

Good Shepherd Pet Crematory and Cemetery services have not stopped during COVID-19. The company practices the three W’s, wearing masks, waiting six-feet, and washing hands, to continue providing on-site pet cremations and burials.

The company has a close relationship with most local veterinarians including mobile veterinarians and works with them to accommodate families’ needs during a “heartbreaking time.”

“We are passionate about pets because they are family members and deserve to be treated as one,” said Funeral Director Emily Boles. “It’s not just dogs and cats we serve, we also offer services for hamsters, rabbits, birds, hedgehogs, pigs, goats, and more. All animals are family, no matter their kind.”

Good Shepherd Pet Crematory and Cemetery provides quick and respectful service to veterinarians and the community and allows visitors to the pet office and crematory at any time.

The company is a member of Cremation Association of America (CANA) and Pet Loss Professional Alliance (PLPA). These associations afford the most up to date merchandise and services in the pet death care industry.

Their website reads that although they may “not always be the lowest” in cost, they are a “Professional Service” to the community, and their reputation speaks for itself.

Their motto is “Serving our pet community with care, dignity, and respect because pets are family,” Boles said.

Good Shepherd Pet Crematory and Cemetery is located in West End and can be reached at (910) 673-2200.

The company is family-owned and operated by Boles Funeral Home since 1996.
