The Village of Pinehurst invites residents to provide feedback and engage in the fiscal year (FY) 2024 budget and Strategic Operating Plan (SOP) before the council considers adopting the plan in June.
The public can use the Engage Pinehurst portal located at engage.vopnc.org/budget-breakdown-fy24 to learn more about the budget process, watch past video presentations, provide valuable feedback and keep up with important key dates.
The Portal gives village staff the opportunity to breakdown the proposed budget in a user-friendly format to encourage resident participation and allows for a transparent process.
Budget Timeline
Village Manager Jeff Sanborn presented the proposed FY 24 budget to the council during the May 9 Village Council Regular Meeting.
Village Council will then hold a public hearing on the FY 2024 budget at their meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 4:30 p.m. Members of the public that wish to speak at the hearing may contact the Village Clerk at [email protected] or 910-420-1631. Prior to the public hearing, staff will provide the village council with feedback from the Engage Pinehurst portal.
Village Council is scheduled to adopt the annual budget at their meeting on June 13 at 4:30 p.m.
