Robbins police blotter details drug, gun, assault arrests

Robbins police officers made multiple arrests during December on charges ranging from carrying a concealed firearm and drug possession to shoplifting and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and cause serious injury, according to the police department.

Week 1:

Conner Hayes (traffic stop) – Possession of cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and maintaining a vehicle while in possession of a controlled substance.

Kenyona Wallace (traffic stop) – Upon approach, an officer smelled an odor of marijuana, and Wallace reportedly admitted to smoking marijuana. Upon a search, the officer located suspected marijuana and a concealed firearm. Charges include: possession of Schedule VI, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed gun, and possession of an open container.

Troy Sipe (warrant) – Arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Week 2:

Jonathan Hall and Summer Hall – Officers were called to Dollar General for a larceny. Jonathan Hall was charged with larceny shoplifting, concealing of goods, and misdemeanor conspiracy. Summer Hall was charged with misdemeanor conspiracy. Both were banned from the store.

Joshua Wallace (traffic stop) – Wallace was charged/cited with open containers, possession of drug paraphernalia, fictitious tag, no liability insurance, driving without two headlamps, and expired inspection.

Edgar Bahena-Sotto – He was initially charged with assault with a deadly weapon and later charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and cause serious injury, and intoxicated and destructive.

Week 3:

James Williams (traffic stop) – A chase began after a moped reportedly refused to stop after failing to stop at a stop sign. Williams was charged with: flee and elude, possession of firearm by felon, reckless driving to endanger, failure to stop at stop sign(s), aggressive driving, and is facing 34 other charges.

Michael Alston (traffic stop) – While conducting a stop, officers received a call of larceny from a local business. They identified Alston as the suspect. He was charged at Carlie C’s with misdemeanor larceny, shoplifting, and possession of stolen goods, and was banned from the store. At Dollar General, he was charged with larceny shoplifting and was banned from the store. He also had a felony warrant from Cumberland County.

Week 4:

Anna Gonzalez (community policing) – Felony warrant.

Ricky Dial was reportedly pulled over for reckless driving. He reportedly admitted to taking illegal narcotics. Dial was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, maintaining a vehicle dwelling place of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to maintain lane control.

Amanda Chriscoe and Janice Lester (passenger) (traffic stop) – The car was pulled over for a revoked driver’s license, and officers located two firearms, crystal-like substance, and brown powder substance.

Chriscoe was charged with: possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of methamphetamine, maintain a vehicle dwelling place of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule VI, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of a concealed gun x2 per person, revoked tags, fictitious tags, expired tag, failure to register motor vehicle, no liability insurance, expired inspection, and driving without two headlamps.

Lester was charged with second-degree trespass.

Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
