Robbins woman charged after fleeing traffic stop

One individual was arrested in Robbins after a traffic stop, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

On Aug. 15, detectives initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of Browns Mill Road in Robbins.

During the traffic stop, the vehicle fled, and detectives pursued the vehicle. Detectives stopped the vehicle in the 1200 block of Browns Mill Road in Robbins. During the traffic stop, detectives searched the vehicle. As a result of the search, detectives located methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.

Kimberly Osborne, 40, of Robbins, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, and expired registration plate.

Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
