Search in Robbins results in 8 drug charges

A 53-year-old man from is facing eight charges after a search warrant was executed in Robbins.

“On February 25, 2026, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Ray Road in Robbins,” said the Moore County Sheriff’s Office in a Thursday news release. “During the search, detectives seized methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and non-tax-paid liquor.”

As a result of the investigation, William Sanders, of Robbins, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacture of liquor without a permit, and possession of non-tax-paid alcohol.

Sanders was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on March 5.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
