The driver and passenger of the garbage truck that was heading east were unharmed. The driver of the Camaro was taken to Moore Regional Hospital by EMS. His condition was unknown, but he could escape the vehicle before first responders arrived.

The State Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. The truck heading east and the Camaro heading west stopped in the westbound lane. With the high impact, the Camaro sustained heavy damage to the driver’s side, taking off a lot of the Camaro’s door.

The air bags deployed in the Camaro. The truck sustained minor damage. Officials from the company were also on the scene, talking with employees and assessing damage to the truck.
