Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields is warning residents of a current scam circulating the county.
“Citizens have reported receiving ‘Future of Social Security’ ballot from an organization called ‘The Seniors Center,’” said Fields on the department’s social media page. “Ballots are sent from a third party and ask for donations for Social Security.”
Fields said, “Avoid falling victim of this scam” by following the below suggestions:
-Do not complete the ballot
-Do not send donations
-Do not provide personal information
