As Hurricane Dorian rapidly approaches, residents from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, eastern North Carolina and Virginia are preparing to leave their homes due to voluntary and mandatory evacuations.
To assist traveling motorists that have been displaced, the Southern Pines Police Department has prepared a list of hotels in the jurisdiction of the Southern Pines Police Department that are pet friendly.

“The Southern Pines Police Department realizes this is a difficult time for those who have to leave their homes due to Hurricane Dorian, and we hope this information will make emergency travel plans a bit easier,” said the department in a news release.
