Logan James Glaubitz, beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born November 13, 2006, in Whittier, California, to Justin Michael and Cecelia Marie Glaubitz.
A graduate of Union Pines High School, Logan was preparing to enter his sophomore year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in Biology. Driven and deeply dedicated, he hoped to attend medical school and devote his life to helping others.
Logan embraced life fully. He played soccer, swam competitively, ran track and cross-country, and loved mountain biking and snowboarding. He had recently taken up golf, returned to playing guitar, and was learning chess. Above all, Logan loved fishing and was happiest near the water with a rod in his hands. Music was also woven throughout his life, and sharing the songs he loved was one of the ways he shared himself with others.
Those who knew Logan will remember his kindness, compassion, dedication, and wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. He loved deeply and showed that love through loyalty, laughter, shared adventures, and simply being there.
Logan treasured his family. He shared a special bond with his mother, Cecelia, and loved and respected his father, Justin. His sisters, Lacey and Lilly, meant the world to him. As their big brother, Logan was their protector, mentor, role model, and friend.
Most importantly, Logan loved his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. His family grieves deeply but holds tightly to the hope found in Christ and the promise that death does not have the final word.
Logan was preceded in death by his uncle, William Kerry Wohlschlag. He is survived by his parents, Justin and Cecelia Glaubitz; his sisters, Lacey and Lilly; and many loving family members and friends.
Logan’s life was far too short, but its meaning cannot be measured in years. He was deeply loved, will be deeply missed, and will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ Community Church, 220 Campground Rd, West End, NC 27376. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.
