Two men from Sanford were arrested in Cameron on drug charges, announced Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Deputies pulled over a vehicle that Jeremy Holder, 36, and Joseph Pierce, 35, were driving in on Cypress Church Road on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
“During the traffic stop, Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle,” said Fields. “As a result of the search, Deputies located heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, prescription pills, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia.”
Holder was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000.
Pierce was charged with felony possession of cocaine, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He received a $2,500 bond.
Both men are due in court on Nov. 18 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
