United Way season of giving: Committed to supporting dignity of self-sufficiency

Residents of Moore County are invited to provide critical input about local social issues through a community survey being conducted by United Way of Moore County.

“We need our community’s help with this important project,” said United Way Chairman of the Board, Kit McKinley. “We are working hard to ensure the survey’s validity, and that’s part of the reason we need our community on board with us. This survey will allow our donors, partners, volunteers, and residents of Moore County a voice in our strategies moving forward.”

The survey is an online community survey that is open to the public. To ensure confidentiality, survey results will be tabulated by Perspectives Consulting Group, a Michigan-based research firm.

The survey is a way to continue in that role. We care about this community and will continue helping those with the greatest needs,’’ comments United Way President, Linda Pearson.

The survey opens on April 16 and will end on Monday, April 29.
