How would you like a chance for a Muhammad Ali signed glove or a Rolling Stones’ signed guitar while helping Moore Humane Society?
Moore Humane Society’s gala fundraiser, Unleashing the Possibilities, will be held on Tuesday, October, 17 during the hours of 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst.
During the event, there will be dancing and live entertainment from the Will McBride Group. They combine edgy rock, smooth jazz, rhythmic Latin, catchy pop, upbeat funk, and deep-felt soul. They’ve opened for well-known bands such as ZZ Top, Eddie Money, Styx, Leon Russell, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sixpence None the Richer, Aaron Neville and Greg Allman.
The benefit will host a silent auction. Items featured in the auction will be a box of Padron cigars, signed by Jose Padron and his family, and staycations along with the signed Ali glove and the Rolling Stones’ signed guitar. There will be a raffle for a weekend at Biltmore Inn.
Heavy hor d’oeuvres, wine, and beer will be served to satisfy the crowd.
Tickets are $75 in advance and are available at Given Memorial Library in Pinehurst, The Country Bookshop in Southern Pines, or may be purchased at moorehumane.org. Tickets will be available at the door for $85.
