The Village of Pinehurst Beautification Committee invites residents and businesses to showcase their holiday spirit by participating in the annual A Pinehurst Christmas Decorating Contest.
Entries are open in two categories—residential and business—and prizes will be awarded in both. Homes must be located within the corporate limits of Pinehurst and outside of gated communities. Decorations should be visible from the street and illuminated for nighttime viewing.
Residents and businesses can register by visiting vopnc.org and clicking on the Christmas Decorating Contest banner or by scanning the QR code featured on promotional materials.
All entries will be judged on Theme, Creativity, Difficulty to Create, and Overall Effect.
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, November 26, at noon
Judging: Thursday, December 4 (after dark)
Winners Announced: Friday, December 5, during the Village Christmas Tree Lighting
“This contest is a wonderful way to bring our community together and celebrate the beauty of the season,” said members of the Beautification Committee. “We look forward to seeing the creativity and festive spirit Pinehurst is known for.”
