The Village of Pinehurst is studying the possibility of entering into an agreement with the Given Memorial Library and Tufts Archives to construct a new library and is asking for residents’ feedback.
Residents are invited to participate in the discussion forum through Envision the Village.
“Libraries can benefit a community greatly, as they can meet the needs of all ages,” wrote members of Envision the Village on the forum. “Meanwhile, they can also be quite expensive. Depending on the scope, a new library could very well be the most expensive project that Village has ever undertaken when considering both construction (or renovation) costs and long-term operating costs.”
