A Moore County woman is accused of robbing two gas stations Saturday morning.
Carrie Rochelle Locklear, 34, from Aberdeen, was booked at the Moore County Detention Center just after 8 a.m. after being arrested on two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is accused of robbing this Circle K gas station on Hwy 1 and Council Way on Jan. 26.
Aberdeen Police say Locklear, armed with a knife, robbed the Circle K gas stations, located at U.S. Highway 1 and Council Way in Aberdeen, at 1 a.m. and then robbed the another Circle K gas station, located at U.S. Highway 15-501 and N.C. Highway 211, at 5 a.m.
The cashier of the second gas station alerted a police officer who pulled into the parking lot making nightly rounds, and Locklear was apprehended when the officer pulled her vehicle over.
The suspect is also accused of robbing this Circle K gas station on Hwy 15-501 after robbing the first gas station on Hwy 1.
According the state offender data base, Locklear is a convicted felon, currently on parole. She was released from jail on August 2, 2018. Some of her previous convictions include larceny, forgery, and obtaining property by false pretense.
Locklear is jailed under a $75,000 secured bond, has a January 30 court date, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
