Two people were arrested after $15,490 worth of drugs were seized after a traffic stop in northwest Moore County, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Timothy Ray Beaver, 35, of Biscoe, and Kristen Nicole Julian, 27, of Asheboro, were arrested when Moore County Sheriff Deputies stopped their vehicle Friday.

“Deputies received information that a wanted individual was possibly a passenger in the vehicle,” said the news release. “Deputies also had knowledge that the driver of the vehicle did not have an active driver’s license, and the vehicle had a fictitious registration plate.”

Authorities seized 116 grams of methamphetamine, 14 grams of heroin, four grams of marijuana, two dosage units of Oxycodone prescription pills, two dosage units of Buprenorphine and Naloxone, five dosage units of RX Fentanyl Transdermal patches, a firearm, items of drug paraphernalia, and $4,494 in cash.

Beaver was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $175,000 secured bond. He was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Possession, Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Transport, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Heroin by Possession, Trafficking in Heroin by Transport, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin, Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling Place, 2 counts of Simple Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Simple Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, No Operator’s License, No Headlight and Fictitious Registration Plate.

Julian was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and her unsecured bond was set at $1,000.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on January 8.
