Aberdeen PetSmart received an appreciation plaque from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services.

Store Manager Matthew Croker, Ann Blanton, and the Salon Leader were presented with the plaque Monday from Sheriff Neil Godfrey, Captain James Furr and Lieutenant Forrest Kirk.

PetSmart has provided support for Animal Services this past year, and Sheriff Godfrey was eager to show his appreciation.

“The assistance provided by Petsmart has been a major contributing factor for helping our Animal Services’ operation being very successful,” said Sheriff Godfrey in a news release.  “PetSmart has provided grant money for our adoption trailer and for other purposes, food and litter donations, toy animals for kids, support for adoption events and space inside the PetSmart store for cat adoptions.  We sincerely appreciate the outstanding support that we have received from Matthew Croker and his staff.”
