Aberdeen woman charged with multiple felony sex offenses involving juveniles

An Aberdeen woman has been arrested and is facing multiple felony sexual offense charges involving juveniles following an investigation by the Aberdeen Police Department, authorities said.

Police said officers were dispatched Dec. 28 to a report of a sexual assault that allegedly occurred Dec. 26 at a residence near the intersection of Saunders Boulevard and Churchill Downs Drive.

“Investigators responded to assist, and a 13-year-old juvenile male was identified as the victim,” reports the Aberdeen Police Departmnet. “Investigators obtained statements and began to investigate the allegations. A second 13-year-old juvenile male was also identified as an additional potential victim.”

On Dec. 29, investigators reportedly obtained and executed a search warrant at a residence associated with the investigation. During the search, authorities said evidence related to the alleged offenses was located. Police said Aiza Navratil, 19, of Aberdeen, was identified as the suspect and detained while the search was conducted.

“Navratil was detained while the search warrant was executed, and during the search, evidence of the crime was located,” reports the police department. “In addition, Navratil confirmed the identities of both juvenile male victims.”

Navratil was arrested and charged with felony statutory rape of a person who is 13 years old, felony second-degree forcible rape, and two counts of felony statutory sexual offense involving a person who is 13 years old.

Navratil was taken before a Moore County magistrate and ordered held without bond pending a hearing before a judicial official, authorities said.

The identities of juvenile victims are not being released.

All suspects and persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
