Arrests made after search in Robbins

Three people from Robbins were arrested following a search of a home on Thursday, Sept. 16.

In a news release, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced William Troyer,
William Troyer Jr., and Jennifer Howell were arrested by Moore County Probation and Parole and deputies with the sheriff’s department.

The search was conducted at a home in Robbins.

“As a result of the search, deputies seized marijuana, a firearm, and items of drug paraphernalia,” said Fields about the investigation at the home in the 200 block of Frannie Moore Road.

Troyer, 59, was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond at the Moore County Detention Center in Carthage and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Troyer, Jr., 30, and Howell, 27, were each charged with possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Both suspects were released on citation.

The suspects are due in court on Sept. 22 and Oct. 11 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
