Arrests made in string of larcenies

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields reports that between Dec. 8 and Dec. 16, his department received seven reports of stolen property involving vehicle break-ins at multiple homes throughout Robbins and the Putnam Church area of Carthage.

During the incidents, various items were stolen from the vehicles, and one vehicle was reported stolen. That vehicle has since been recovered and returned to its owner.

On Dec. 16, sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant in connection with the larcenies at a residence on Hemp Street in Robbins. As a result of the search, several stolen items were recovered, and two individuals were arrested.

Manuel Felix-Miguel, 18, of Robbins, was charged with multiple counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, larceny after breaking or entering, possession of a stolen firearm, larceny of a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor larceny. He was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under an $85,000 secured bond.

Pascual Felix-Miguel, 19, of Robbins, was charged with aiding and abetting a felony and felony possession of stolen goods. He was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under an $11,000 secured bond.

Both individuals are scheduled to make their first court appearance in Moore County district court on Jan. 9, 2025. Additional charges are expected as detectives continue to work through the ongoing investigations.
