Newly developed Morganton Park Southâs first restaurant will open on Thursday, Sept. 19. After 11 years of operation, the Ohio-based BIBIBOP Asian Grill will open its second location in North Carolina at 239 Carolina Green Parkway in Southern Pines.
BIBIBOP (say it like Bee-Bee-Bop) offers a gluten-free and healthier option to Korean food. Customers have options for building their bowls. The start of creating your bowl is with the base. You can choose from sweet potato noodles, purple rice, white rice or salad greens.
With 13 toppings, you can pick as many as your bowl will hold. Options from black beans and pineapple to kimchi will give your bowl the flavor you are aiming for.
Once you have selected the toppings, you can choose a protein. For those looking for a vegan or vegetarian option, you could stop there or try their organic tofu. If you want to add protein, the options are chicken, spicy chicken, steak, or Korean BBQ.
One last option to add to your bowl is the sauce. You can choose from their most popular option, Yum Yum, or go with teriyaki, spicy sriracha, or sesame ginger.
They offer Coke products, or you can try their special teas or lemonades.
They also offer several catering options for your office, party, or for the family. The custom spread feeds 12-200 people and is their customizable buffet. You can order individual bowls for your family or a group of four or more. They also have the A LA Carte, quarter pans of any protein, base, or toppings. They also offer group meals that will feed 2-10 people.
You can dine in, carry out or order online at BIBIBOP.com or through their app. Delivery is also available by ordering online or through the delivery service apps.
BIBIBOP also offers a fundraising option where the organization can earn 20% of the orders they bring in. You can find that information on their website. They also provide achievement awards for K-5, partnering with doctor’s offices or schools, and the organization can complete the application on their website. BIBIBOP will send the approved organization achievement awards for them to pass out, which are worth a free kidâs meal.
During the grand opening, they will give one free bowl to all civic workers, firefighters, police, paramedics, hospital staff, teachers and school staff. They also offer $5 off if you wear orange on opening day. Fifty guests will win free BIBIBOP for a year.
They will be open on opening day from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. Their hours beginning Friday will be 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., seven days a week.
