Three people from Cameron were arrested for drugs after a search by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department, said Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a press release.
“On March 30, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 2400 block of Stanton Hill Road in Cameron,” said Fields. “During the investigation, Deputies located cocaine, marijuana, hashish, suboxone, and items of drug paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”
Arrested were:
Jessie Chastain, age 30:
Charges- Possession of Marijuana Greater than ½ ounce to 1 ½ ounces, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $5,000 unsecured.
Heather Chastain age 22:
Charges- Felony Possession of Cocaine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Bond: $2,500 secured.
Joseph Gilliam, age 29:
Charges- Felony Possession of Cocaine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Bond: $2,500 secured.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
