Moore County’s first high school volleyball game of 2023 is in the books, and the Lady Grunts from Father Vincent Capodanno High School won in three straight sets, 25/14, 25/17, 25/9, against Fayetteville’s Northwest Baptist Academy.
“We were on pins and needles coming into such an early first game of the season,” said Capodanno head coach Teresa Driscoll, “but our girls really came through.”
This game was also the season opener of the newly formed Central Carolina Christian Conference.
