Thursday morning, around 11 a.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Pee Dee Road and Central Drive in Southern Pines.
Airbags deployed in the Chevy Volt that sustained damage on the front passenger side. The pickup truck sustained front-end damage. Both individuals were assessed by first responders on the scene.
The turning lane of the intersection was closed off, and traffic on Central Drive was slowed down while the wreckage was cleared.
Southern Pines fire and police, Moore County EMS, and NC State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.Â
