A local man was uninjured after crashing head-on into trees Monday afternoon near the Eastwood community.
The incident took place at the intersection of Beulah Hill Church Road and Hardee Branch Road.
Troopers tell Sandhills Sentinel that the man was driving a Kia Soul westbound on Hardee Branch Road and failed to stop at the stop sign.
The Kia crossed Beulah Hill Church Road, hit a road sign, and came to a stop when it hit two trees. The driver was checked out at the scene by Moore County paramedics. No other vehicles were involved.
A driver crashed into road signs on June 6 near Eastwood.
The driver could face multiple charges including failure to stop at a stop sign.
Responding to the scene were Eastwood Fire Department, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, and N.C. State Highway Patrol.
