Single-vehicle crash leaves SUV on its side

Authorities were called to the 700 block of River Road in the High Falls area just before 4:45 p.m. Tuesday for a single-vehicle accident.

An SUV rolled over into a cow pasture stopping at the fence line. 

The male driver was the only passenger of the vehicle.

EMS transported the patient to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One lane of River Road was closed for a period of time. 

Responding to the scene were High Falls Fire and Rescue, Moore County EMS, and the NC State Highway Patrol.
