Two people from Asheboro were arrested following a drug investigation in Robbins.
Jackie Brady, 68, was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond, and Kimberly Harris, 45, was given a $75,000 unsecured bond.
“On September 29th, 2023, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug investigation in the 100 block of NC Highway 705 in Robbins,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a press release. “During the investigation, detectives seized cocaine, marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia, and $144.00 in currency which resulted in the arrests of two individuals.”
Brady was charged with trafficking in cocaine by sell, trafficking in cocaine by deliver, trafficking in cocaine by transport, trafficking in cocaine by possession, two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of felony possession of cocaine, two counts of maintain a vehicle or dwelling/place to keep a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Harris was charged with conspiring to traffic in cocaine by deliver, conspiring to traffic in cocaine by transport, conspiring to sell cocaine, conspiring to deliver cocaine, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both are due in court on Oct. 25 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
