FirstHealth of the Carolinas is expanding the ways it serves the community with the opening of a new facility offering convenient care, family medicine and fitness services.
Opening Sept. 25, FirstHealth Convenient Care – Whispering Pines will see patients in the new location, moving just down the road to 225 Capital Drive, Suite 101. The new clinic offers more space and resources to better serve the urgent medical needs of the community. Convenient Care – Whispering Pines will keep the same hours (8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., seven days a week), and no appointment is required.
The new Family Medicine – Whispering Pines clinic (225 Capital Drive, Suite 103) will care for patients of all ages, from babies to grandparents, focusing on preventive care and health management.
FirstHealth providers Angela Walling, FNP-C, and Angie Hounsell, FNP-C, will serve patients at Family Medicine – Whispering Pines.
Additionally, family medicine providers Todd Nicholson, PA-C, and Tom Wilkins, PA-C, will continue to see patients in their current Whispering Pines location (7473-B Highway 22, Whispering Pines).
“We are thrilled to expand our services in a fast-growing part of Moore County, said Dan Barnes, D.O., president of FirstHealth Physician Group. “These services are a reflection of our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality care to meet the needs of every member of your family.”
For those looking to improve their health and fitness, FirstHealth will also open a 24-hour fitness center at the new Whispering Pines location. The facility will offer a variety of exercise options, including cardio and weightlifting equipment, high-level performance classes and the following:
