For the third consecutive year, FirstHealth of the Carolinas has been recognized as one of the Top 150 Places to Work in Health Care by Becker’s Healthcare, a national publication highlighting excellence in the health care industry.
The 2025 list honors hospitals, health systems and health care companies that go above and beyond to foster outstanding workplace cultures, said FirstHealth in an announcement. These organizations prioritize employee well-being through comprehensive benefits, inclusive work environments and opportunities for both professional and personal growth. Many also demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and social responsibility.
“This recognition is a testament to the dedication and compassion of our employees, providers and volunteers, who live out our core purpose, To Care for People every day,” said Mickey W. Foster, chief executive officer of FirstHealth of the Carolinas. “We’re honored to once again be named among the best in the country, and we remain committed to creating a vibrant, supportive and empowering workplace.”
Becker’s Healthcare noted that top employers support their teams with resources that promote a healthy work-life balance and encourage employee engagement and diversity.
“FirstHealth’s culture reflects these values, with a strong emphasis on well-being, professional development and service to the communities it serves,” said Foster.
