Free flu vaccination clinics for homeless uninsured veterans

Free flu vaccination clinics for the homeless, uninsured and veterans have been organized by TEAM WORKZ, a homeless organization, and the Moore County Health Department in several locations in Moore County.

The organizers are also distributing personal hygiene items, first aid kit, winter clothing, and lunch at the following locations:

Tuesday, December 1 from 11 – 3 p.m. at Aberdeen Lake Park;

Friday, December 4 from 10- 2 p.m. at the Morganton Road Sports Complex in Southern Pines. This site is the soccer complex directly across from the armory at 190 Fire Lane;

Tuesday, December 8 from 10 – 2 p.m. at  Drug Free Moore County, located at 105 Barrett Street, Carthage;

Wednesday, December 9 from 10 – 2 p.m. at  Robbins Area Christian Ministries, located at 131 Horner Street;

Tuesday, December 15 from 10 – 2 p.m. at 8315 B Main Street, Taylortown.
