A log truck traveling towards Cameron overturned Labor Day morning spilling large logs on a yard. As the truck approached a sharp curve near 6140 South Plank Road, the vehicle overturned on its side.
Retired Cypress Pointe Firefighter Frank Staples said, “The truck was totaled, but no one was injured.”

Staples said the log truck overturned at the same location another log truck overturned a few years ago. It took several hours into Monday afternoon to clear the scene.
Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue responded to the incident.
