Moore County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a death that occurred during a domestic dispute overnight.
The incident happened on Friday, March 25 in Carthage.
Deputies were called to the scene on Gilchrist Road to a “domestic situation in progress” just after 9:30 p.m.
“Upon arrival, they confirmed that one male had been shot and subsequently died,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news release. Â
No other information was released as this is an ongoing investigation.
