Moore Women – A Giving Circle awards more than $30,000 in grants

Moore Women – A Giving Circle has awarded $30,875 in grants to organizations supporting women, children and families in the local community.

The giving circle granted:

$3,000 to Family Promise of Moore County for general operating support

$3,500 to Friend to Friend for Hope-Stability-Safety

$5,000 to Moore Buddies Mentoring for mentoring afterschool enrichment program

$2,500 to Moore County Literacy Council for family literacy

$5,000 to Northern Moore Family Resource Center for the HOPE Academy Preschool

$2,000 to Partners for Children and Families for the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)

$3,375 to Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care for Food for Robbins, NC

$2,000 to the Arc of Moore County for support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families

$2,000 to Tides Sandhills for general operating support (first-time grantee)

$2,500 to Young Women Transitional Home of Moore County (dba Tambra Place) for general operating support
