It wasn’t that many years ago that the area in front of the Pinehurst Club House was used for the first hole of Course No. 3 and Course No. 5. Now, thanks to the creative minds at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club, golfers of all ages and abilities can enjoy playing on this 9-hole short course.
The views of the historic clubhouse are fabulous, as is the layout designed by Golf Course Architect, Gill Hanse.
Pinehurst is always trying to keep up with new trends in golf, while insuring tradition. The Cradle, opened in 2017 and named so because Pinehurst is the cradle of American golf, fits perfectly into that thinking.
It is no wonder that every time people pass The Cradle on Rt 5 there is always someone playing golf.
