The Robbins Police Department provided its monthly activity report for April, detailing citations, charges and arrests stemming from routine traffic stops to assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
Week 1
Anderson Townsend (traffic stop) – Officers saw a truck doing a burnout at an intersection and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver failed to pull over, said Robbins Police Chief Ben Haddock. After a short chase, the driver came to a stop.
He was charged with fleeing to elude, driving while license revoked, failure to heed lights and sirens, reckless driving to endanger, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, unsafe movement, unsafe passing on the yellow line, and license plate cover violation.
Elizabeth Richardson (court order violation) – Officers saw two people who are court-ordered not to be together. Richardson was charged with violation of release condition. At the jail, Haddock said she admitted to having methamphetamine on her, so she was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of Schedule II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eric Kennedy (traffic stop) – driving while license revoked and expired registration card.
Juvenile (larceny) – He was charged with larceny, shoplifting concealing goods, possession of stolen goods, resisting public officer, and was banned from Dollar General.
Week 2
William Cook (traffic stop) – possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, failure to heed lights and sirens, expired registration card, no registration, fictitious tag, driving while license revoked, failure to wear a seat belt, and mirror violation.
Jamie Rouse – second-degree trespassing.
Amy Arbaiza (traffic stop) – Order for arrest out of Sanford.
Week 3
George Jones (stop) – Order for arrest and warrant for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
Week 4
Raymond Pope and Jeffery Davidson (larceny) – Pope is facing charges of larceny, possession of stolen goods, shoplifting and concealment of goods. Davidson was charged with conspiracy to commit shoplifting.
Pedro Lopez-Ugarte (traffic stop) – driving while license revoked.
Edgur Rodrigez Garcia (assault) – simple assault
David Daughetry and Brenda Monsell (window tint violation) – With a smell of marijuana and occupants acting suspicious, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was called and gave a positive ID for drugs, said Haddock. Daughetry was charged with driving while license revoked, window tint violation. no registration, no insurance, open title, fictitious tag, and drug paraphernalia. Monsell was charged with simple possession of Schedule III and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Salvador Vargas – Haddock said Vargas lied about his name when officers were investigating a previous assault. It was found out that he had an order for arrest for DWI.
Kelsey Barbera (traffic stop) – resisting a public officer and running a stop sign. She was released with a citation.
With just a little time before school lets out for the summer, Haddock offers a reminder.
“As it comes to the end of the school year, be mindful of what your kids are doing and where they are at during this summer,” said Haddock.
