N.C. Department of Transportation contractors are scheduled to close a section of Army Road in Hoke County for about two months as part of the ongoing widening of N.C. 211.
Beginning Aug. 3 at 7 a.m., Army Road will be closed near N.C. 211 to construct the new eastbound lane of N.C. 211 and upgrade the Army Road intersection, announced DOT.
During the road closure, motorists will be detoured via Montrose Road and Calloway Road.
More closures and detours are to come as the project advances.
