A 64-year-old man from Robbins faces nine charges, including trafficking in opium or heroin, and was jailed at the Moore County Detention Center on a $50,000 secured bond.
Moore County Sheriff’s Office detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Scaleybark Lane in Robbins on July 24.
Sheriff Ronnie Fields said detectives found suspected methamphetamine, oxycodone, alprazolam, drug paraphernalia, marijuana paraphernalia, nontax-paid liquor, and a firearm and seized all the items.
As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Michael Randolph on July 27.
Randolph was charged with trafficking in opium or heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of nontax-paid alcohol, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on Aug.13.
