Elizabeth “Beth” Margaret Huber, 91, of Southern Pines, passed away at the FirstHealth Hospice House on Monday, December 4th.
A memorial service to honor Beth’s life will be held at the Boles Funeral Home, 425 W. Pennsylvania Ave, Southern Pines Saturday, Dec. 9th at 11:30 A.M.
Born in Marquette, MI on October 11th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Ida (Gieser) Huber. As a young woman, Beth moved to Colorado. In 1971 she would settle in Southern Pines. Beth was an office manager for a local medical practice.
Beth is survived by her many nieces and nephews: Kathy Moore, husband Roger Faust; Susan Johnson, husband Gary; Jack Moore, wife Peggy; Ronald Dahlquist, wife Janet; Karen Emmett, husband Chuck; Peggy Jo Behar, husband Bruce; Judy Smith, husband Ray; Jeff Huber, wife Marlene; Jerry Huber, wife Dorie; David Huber; William Fountain, wife Suzanne; and Cindy Fountain. She is predeceased by her niece Barbara Brink. Beth is also survived by 2 more generations of nieces and nephews. Aunt Beth was our rock and the one who kept us all connected. She will be dearly missed by her family and all of her longstanding neighbors and friends.
