Andrew Thomas Hartsell, age 53, of Carthage, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home in Vass with Rev. Jamie Crissman officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Cameron Community Cemetery in Cameron.
Andrew was born in Moore County on October 28, 1972 to Thomas Franklin Hartsell and the late Linda Sineath Hartsell.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Jordan Sineath of Carthage; daughter, Lindsey Hartsell of Cameron; father, Thomas Franklin Hartsell and his wife Pamela of Pinehurst; sister, Allison Crissman and husband Jamie of Carthage; grandchildren, Kinsley Curtis and Gunner Curtis; step-daughters, Hillary Gonzalez and Jessica Barrera; step-sister, Melissa Mathis; step-brother, Severn Mathis; niece, Gracie Crissman; nephew, Tommy Crissman and his former wife, Angela Hall.
Most importantly, Andrew loved the Lord and was a very caring person. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved catfishing, especially with his daughter Lindsey. When she was younger, they spent many weekends competing in catfish tournaments. In addition to hunting and fishing, he raised and sold field dogs and loved to run dogs. He also loved to play pool. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his daughter, Lindsey Hartsell or to Cox Memorial Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
