Dal A. Butler, 86, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Autumn Care, Biscoe, NC.
Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Pine Rest Cemetery, with the Reverend Kenneth McNeill officiating. The body will lie in state at Kennedy Funeral Home on Wednesday prior to the service.
Dal was a native of Moore County. He was a graduate of Elise High School and served his country in the United States Army. He worked in textiles, retiring from Ithaca, Ind.. Dal was a son of the late Odell and Ethel McNeill Butler and was preceded in death by daughter: Connie Good; sisters: Viola Monroe, Betty Wallace, Christine Hussey; brothers: Odell Butler,Jr.
Dal is survived by son: Dal Alexander Butler, II, Travelers Rest, SC; sister: Laura Ann Brady; many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autumn Care, 401 Lambert Road, Biscoe, NC 27209.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Autumn Care for the loving care and support they gave to Dal.
