David Lee Arner, 66, of Pinehurst, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at his residence.
David was born May 6, 1955, in Massillon, OH to Robert and Doris Rudolph Arner. He grew up in Ohio and lived many places but considered Boca Grande, Florida home. In 2017, he moved to Pinehurst to be closer to family. David was an avid reader with a special interest in economics. As a racing fan he closely followed all forms of car racing, nascar, formula one, touring, etc. He also enjoyed sailing and motorcycle road trips. Later in life he became an artist and completed many beautiful paintings.
David is survived by his daughter Emily Arner (Costa Cassis); his son Brad Arner (Camille); six grandchildren; Declan, Samuel, Raphael, Nathan, Phoebe and Leo; and his sister Holly Weaver (Wayne).
