Dawn Renee Maness, 49, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at her home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, with the Reverend Dr. John Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00.
Dawn was born February 14, 1970 to the late Glenn Edward and Vera Mae Shields Maness. She was a graduate of North Moore High School and attended Sandhills Community College. She worked in the food service industry at the North Carolina Zoo. Dawn was a loving daughter, sister and mother. Her son Aden was the light of her life. Dawn enjoyed trips to the beach and time spent with her family.
Dawn is survived by her son Aden; brother; Mark Maness and Tina; aunts: Louise Shields, Betty Maness Owens; uncle: Clyde Shields; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
