Doris Linville Moon, 76 of Aberdeen, passed away on September 5, 2018 in Pinehurst.
Born on October 28, 1941 in Macon, Tennessee to the late Jolly and Dora Linville. Doris enjoyed taking “joy rides” throughout Moore County and traveling to many places to include Tennessee, New York and Virginia. She also loved shopping and attending Rodeos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Moon; grandson, Devin Velasquez and her four sisters.
She is survived by her loving companion of 18 years, Michael Kline; one daughter, Sheila Velasquez and her husband, Mike; one granddaughter, Micaela Velasquez; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 4:00-6:00PM at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00AM at the funeral home with burial following at Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
