Jeanne Marie Lloyd, 76, of Whispering Pines, NC and formerly Annapolis, MD, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 16th.
Born in Detroit, MI in November of 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Francis and Jean Henrietta (Jeromin) Dull. Jeanne was raised in Columbus, OH and after her high school graduation, went on to attend The Ohio State University. It was there that she met Gerald Alan Lloyd. The two married in 1965 and settled in Columbus, OH to raise their family. They had relocated to Annapolis, MD where they lived for many years. Jeanne was a certified interior designer who enjoyed bringing beauty and style to others. In 2008 she moved to Whispering Pines and had attended masses at St. Anthony of Padua church.
Jeanne was the wife of Gerald A. Lloyd. She was the mother of Jeffrey Lloyd and Jennifer Connor, both of Annapolis and the late James Lloyd. She was the sister of Jane Pollock and is also survived by her six grandchildren: John, Jordan, Max, Sophie, Elizabeth and Nicholas.
Jeanne was a very creative person and was happiest when spending time with friends and family. It is because of this that the family plans to have a celebration of life in Annapolis, MD in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanne would prefer donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
