Dan Henry Bryant, age 79, formerly from Erwin, NC, now residing in Pinehurst, died at his home on Sunday, December 7th.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Doc Bryant and Ruth Frye Bryant, his sisters Nancy Starr and Carmen Norris. He is survived by two nephews, John Starr of California and David Norris of Wilmington, NC.
Dan attended high school in Erwin where he was a proud member of the Goodfellows alumni. He graduated from NC State where he majored in mathematics. He used his degree in finance while working in Washington DC, California, Pennsylvania and Louisiana. Dan served two years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Dan enjoyed international travel, golfing with his buddies at Pinehurst and walking his rescue dog Shelly. Dan will be missed by family and friends. We love you “Uncle” Dan.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 12. 2025 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Original FWB Church Cemetery, 290 Red Hill Church Rd., Dunn, NC, 28334.
