Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Hollyfield of West End passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in Seven Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care at the age of 83. 

Mrs. Hollyfield was born in Moore County on June 25, 1936, to the late Clarence and Olivia Settle Wilson. For many years, she was a dedicated employee of K-Mart and enjoyed being around people, especially her customers. Margaret loved meeting people and making them laugh throughout her life and her sense of humor was unmatched. She loved to laugh and enjoyed listening to gospel music. Margaret always made a great pound cake, and when she was able, she always enjoyed taking time away and going to the beach as well as loving the Lord. Along with her late husband, Preston Holder, she was preceded in death by her son, Ravon Wiggins; her brother, Gene Wilson; her sister, Vonda W. Dulaney. 

She is survived by her son, Jimmie Garris and his wife, Susan of Pinebluff; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Wiggins of Perry, GA; her grandchildren, Joseph Wiggins, Daniel Wiggins, Christy Patterson, and Jamie Schrum; her brother, Allen Wilson and his wife, Susan; her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Hannah, Joel, Lilly, Cayde, Abigail, and Alexander.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Crumpler Funeral Home in Aberdeen, with Pastor Dwayne Landtroop officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
