Margaret was born in Manhattan, New York on February 27, 1954 to the late Bernard and Madeline Sisto. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Sisto.

Margaret has made such a huge impact on so many.  Her heart was bigger than her pretty smile & warm brown eyes.  Words could never actually express the amazing and awesome woman she truly was.  She was picture perfect, inside and out, and when you had the honor to know the real her, she was silly, funny and had a unique sense of humor. She was a REAL
passionate and pleasantly aggressive in the world of passive people. Margaret was both beautiful and brutal. She was generous, compassionate, selfless and was a devoted woman who welcomed people into her home. She was hellfire and holy water and had relentless strength. She was sunshine mix with tsunami, she was comfort and reassurance. She was everything. Margaret used to love to sing, dance and was always on the move. She used to be a taxi cab driver in New York City.  She sang like Cher. With ALS every passion or love you have slowly dwindles, yet her faith never did. Margaret fought ALS just like a fire cracker she was…fiercely and unapologetically. Take away this message please: “Don’t let my sickness take away your passion”

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Antonino Tripi; children, Bernard Tripi (Crissy) of New York, Daniella Reilly (Oliver) of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Samantha “Sammy”, Madeline “Maddy”, Teagan and Oliver “Ozzie”; sister Eleanore Sisto of Pinehurst.
