Margie Ann Haire Monroe, age 75, of Cameron, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Margie was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on August 10, 1946 to the late Preston Henry and Ada House Haire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mina Riggsbee.
Margie was a CNA with over 40 years of service. As a result of her generous and free spirit, she was loved by many.
She is survived by her children, Ada Dale Wicker (Timothy) of Sanford, Sandra McCalebb (Charles) of Southern Pines, Cindy Carol Monroe of Tennessee, Jimmy W. Monroe, Jr. of Sanford, Jeffrey Scott Monroe of Georgia; sister, Judy Krause (Tom) of Vass; brother, James Haire (Sandra) also of Vass; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
